Yellow peas

Yellow peas

The pea (Pisum sativum) is a biological species, a plant of the Fabaceae family. It is grown as a domestic food crop all over the world. Yellow and green peas are a decent source of fiber because they both belong to legumes. One cup contains up to sixteen grams of fiber (the indicator exceeds 60% of the daily value), and 11 grams are insoluble, 5 grams are soluble.
