Flax seeds

Flax seeds

Depending on the variety, the linseed has a brown or yellow shell, a slight nutty taste and contains about 40% (linseed oil). About 50% of them are polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids (alpha-linolenic acid). Therefore, flaxseed oil has the highest concentration of omega-3 fatty acids compared to all other vegetable oils. Other important ingredients are mucilage, linamarin, proteins, lecithin, sterols, plastochromanol, vitamins B1, B2, B6 and E, as well as nicotinic, folic and pantothenic acids.
